TOWER CREW LEAD FOREMAN
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Candidate must have a Minimum of 5 years climbing and tower construction experience, antenna and line installation, microwave installation, or other wireless related project experience.
- Read and understand scopes of work, microwave path calculations and equipment Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Conduct Line of Sight MW path surveys and provide photographs and recommendations for antenna elevations.
- Ability to perform wireless equipment installations on buildings, towers, poles, etc. (No fear of heights)
- Ability and comfort level to climb communication towers without fear or hesitation (25 -150-ft average)
- Must be able to lead/work with the crew to troubleshoot and resolve project specific issues.
- Proficiency in Windows-based computers and MS Office applications.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record that allows you to be insured.
- Experience with and the ability to climb towers 100+ feet tall, with a 50 lb. load
- Travel Requirements: Must be available to travel up to 50%
- Ability to speak, read and write in English and communicate clearly and effectively with staff and customers in person, through phone calls, data entry, emails and work orders
- Com Training Tower Rescue/Safe Rigging/RF Awareness/OSHA 10/CPR & First Aid preferred. (will provide training)
- Supply basic hand tools and appropriate clothing for diverse weather conditions.
- Experience testing and working with Waveguide, CAT 5, Coaxial and Fiber
